10th May 2007 - JobsInSearch.com selected for Weddle’s 2007/2008 Guide to Employment Web Sites.
JobsInSearch.com, the specialist job site for search engine related jobs and careers, is pleased to announce that it has been featured in WEDDLE's 2007/8 Guide to Employment Web Sites. More than 3,000 sites were reviewed, with only 350 sites selected for final inclusion in the Guide.
JobsInSearch.com launched in October 2004 as the first specialist job site dedicated to search engine related jobs and careers. The site covers the full range of jobs, including SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Paid Search, Web Analytics, Online Marketing, Account Management, Sales and Business Development roles.
Janet Taylor, Business Operations Manager for JobsInSearch.com commented, "With more than 40,000 job related web sites on the Internet we are extremely pleased to have been selected by such a well respected publication. Being featured in the Guide effectively puts JobsInSearch.com in the top 1% of all Internet job sites and careers portals on the web which is a great achievement.”
“As a specialist site the idea was to create a ‘meeting point’ where Recruiters from specialist “Search” companies or corporate employers could meet targeted job seekers - including those with previous search experience and those looking for a career move into the search engine industry.”
“After operating for just over two years, appearing in the WEDDLE’S Guide is an important milestone for us. Although the site is an international site, when the site was launched it was Recruiters and Job Seekers in the United States who first appreciated the benefits of a specialist job site for search engine related jobs. Today, the JobsInSearch.com site attracts more than half of its traffic from the United States and as a result we have some very experienced SEO and Search Marketing job seekers registered with us.”
Jobs In Search is a specialist job site covering search engine related jobs and careers. The job site was successfully launched in October 2004 as the only dedicated job site to jobs and careers in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Search Engine Marketing.
www.Weddles.com WEDDLE's publishes Guides and Directories that focus on the employment-related area of the Internet. The American Staffing Association has called Peter Weddle, the "Zagat" of the online employment industry because he is committed to providing recruiters and HR professionals, job seekers and career activists with the information they need to be smart consumers among the 40,000 employment-related sites operating on the Internet today.
31st January 2007 - JobsInSearch.com and OnlineMarketingJobs.com Achieve Number One Rankings On Google and Yahoo!
Jobs In Search, the specialist job site for search engine related jobs and careers, has achieved number one rankings on both Google and Yahoo! for their main job search terms “SEO Jobs” and “Search Marketing Jobs”
“Job sites rely on high rankings in the search engine to attract both Job Seekers and Recruiters and to achieve these excellent rankings on both Google and Yahoo! is very pleasing. It also gives advertisers confidence that their jobs will be seen by job seekers using a search engine to look for relevant job opportunities”, commented Mike Taylor, founder of JobsInSearch.com.
“Demand in 2007 will be even greater for experienced SEO and Search Engine Marketing employees as the search engine industry continues to grow and mature. That is why we take the effort to maximise our visibility in the search engines amongst many other online marketing activities that we undertake”, continued Taylor.
Online Marketing Jobs
In addition to the Jobs In Search results, their sister site – Online Marketing Jobs - has also achieved similar number one rankings on Google and Yahoo! for the job search terms “online marketing jobs” and “internet marketing jobs”.
“As online recruitment goes from strength to strength the search engines are becoming more and more popular as a way for job seekers to start their job search activities. That is why high rankings are becoming even more important from a visibility point of view to all job site owners”, added Taylor.
23rd October 2006- JobsInSearch.com Celebrates Second Birthday
JobsInSearch.com celebrates its second birthday this week having launched two years ago as the first specialist international job site covering Search Engine Marketing related jobs and careers.
Since the launch in October 2004 the site has featured job vacancies with leading Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) firms in both the UK and North America and featured interviews with Industry leaders.
“In the two years we have been operating there has been phenomenal growth in the world of Search” commented Mike Taylor, founder of JobsInSearch.com. “For example, when we launched very few companies (outside of specialist SEO and Search Marketing firms) were employing SEO or Search Engine Marketing staff. Now it is common for a wide range of companies, across many different industry sectors, to employ their own in-house SEO and Search Engine Marketing related employees.”
“Niche job sites like Jobs In Search have a lot to offer as they provide cost effective job postings to a targeted job seeker audience (the majority of our registered job seekers already have SEO and Search Engine Marketing experience, from entry level up to Director level). All of these skills sets are very much in demand at the moment as companies look for experienced people” continued Taylor.
JobsInSearch.com is well ranked in the search engines, with first page rankings on Google and Yahoo! for the search terms SEO Jobs (often position number one) and Search Marketing Jobs meaning that all advertised job vacancies can be easily found by new job seekers. All the published jobs are immediately sent by email to an experienced pool of registered jobseekers.
Also, to increase awareness and visibility, all the jobs posted on the JobsInSearch.com web site also appear on www.OnlineMarketingJobs.com and www.DigitalMediaJobs.com at the same time at no extra charge. Both of these job sites are also owned and operated by JobsInSearch.com.
For web site and blog site owners looking to add extra content for their visitors there is now the ability to add live job listings directly from the Jobs In Search site via the free Webmaster Jobs Feed feature: www.JobsInSearch.com/feed
